Today i checked out a website Scratch.mit.com. I really enjoyed looking through this website for several reasons. The website is designed to let either students or teachers customize a program in hundreds of unique ways to cater to almost any lesson you could think of. The first thing that I did as I scrolled through the site was to check out all (or at least alot) of the other programs that were developed. This is an awesome aspect of the site because it gives people, such as teachers looking for new ideas, a basis to begin working on the site. I also messed around for a bit with the application and enjoyed myself. Putting these clips together, and adding music, and actions was a really good time. By using this i could definatly see myself trying to apply an application from the site to give a lesson or as a type of "feature" in a lesson. Also, one of the other really advantageous aspects to the software was the ease in which it can be applied making it also possible to let students on the site to work themselves. Check it out.
